If you are stuck on a level crossing and unable to restart your engine, your immediate priority is to clear the crossing as quickly as possible to avoid a collision with an oncoming train. When a front tire bursts, it can cause a sudden loss of control, but you should stay calm and control the vehicle to roll to a stop. Gradually ease off the accelerator, hold the steering wheel firmly but lightly, and avoid slamming on the brakes. Applying the brakes too suddenly can cause the vehicle to swerve. You should gently steer and allow the car to slow down gradually until you can safely pull over to the side of the road.

If your engine suddenly cuts off and doesn’t start, one of the first things to check is the battery terminals. Ensure that the terminals are clean and tightly connected.
